Vertas Group Joins Forces with Thrive Suffolk

Earlier this year, we were proud to launch a new partnership with Thrive Suffolk, an initiative designed to deliver social value and tailored support for youth across Suffolk. The Thrive Suffolk project, funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, offers comprehensive support services that address the unique challenges faced by residents, from personal development to employment readiness.

Led by Suffolk New College, Thrive Suffolk’s programmes aim to build resilience, promote wellbeing, and provide essential pathways to personal and professional development. With dedicated services for young people, the Thrive project helps individuals overcome barriers, pursue training and employment, and achieve meaningful personal growth:

As part of the programmes, individuals also have access to Progression Coach services offered by Suffolk New College, East Coast College, and West Suffolk College, helping them prepare for employment and further training opportunities.

For Vertas Group, this collaboration aligns directly with our core mission to create social value in the communities we serve. By supporting Thrive Suffolk’s holistic approach, we strengthen our investment in Suffolk’s future, ensuring that individuals and families across the county can access the resources they need to thrive.

Through our ongoing partnership, we’ve already successfully delivered a range of impactful initiatives, including our launch event at the Ipswich Head Office, one-to-one mentoring sessions, and careers talks. As a result of these projects, the majority of Thrive participants have gone on to secure work experience placements, interviews, or employment opportunities.
