Vertas has invested in advanced robotic cleaning technology, leading the way in smarter, more efficient workplace solutions.

As part of our commitment to innovation, Vertas has proudly invested in the PUDDU CC1 Robotic Cleaner. This compact, autonomous machine supports our cleaning teams by simplifying routines and delivering consistent, high-quality results across our sites.

This investment in effective equipment not only improves efficiency but also supports our sustainability efforts by optimising water and energy usage. Subsequently, helping us meet rising hygiene standards while reducing environmental impact.

Supporting Smarter and Safer Ways of Working

Our dedicated cleaning colleagues remain central to the success of our operations, and the PUDDU CC1 supports the team in delivering excellent service. The robot fits easily into existing routines without extra training, allowing colleagues to focus on areas that require human touch and client-specific needs.

By automating repetitive tasks and reducing physical effort for our colleagues, the robot helps create a safer and more comfortable working environment. This reflects our commitment to creating a forward-thinking workplace where colleagues feel valued and innovation makes their jobs easier. Vertas takes pride in its ongoing commitment to providing safe and healthy workplaces, having earned seven consecutive RoSPA Awards.

Saves Time and Boosts Efficiency

The PUDDU CC1 significantly boosts efficiency by automating routine cleaning tasks across our sites. Since its introduction, the robot has saved our team up to three hours per day, allowing colleagues to focus on more detailed cleaning and high-impact areas. With its time-saving capability, we’re able to enhance service quality, supporting teams to deliver consistently high cleaning service.

The extra support empowers our teams to work more effectively and with greater confidence. It also helps us maintain a consistent level of service, even during busy periods, ensuring we prioritise customer satisfaction.

A People-Led Approach

Lee Johns, Head of FM (SCC and WSC), said: “The initial response to the PUDDU CC1 Robotic Cleaner introduction of the robot has been great. It demonstrates how technology can complement the fantastic work our colleagues do every day.

We’re delighted to be at the forefront of an industry investing in cleaning technology that supports more efficient service. The robot has helped us modernise our cleaning service, and we’re excited to see how it can support other sites across the Group.

At Vertas, we believe innovation should be purposeful and people-led. Initiatives like this help us explore new ways to work sustainably and in partnership with our clients and communities.
