Six colleagues from Vertas Group Limited, ran, walked, climbed, and hopped as they took part in a 5k Pretty Muddy, a mud-splattered obstacle course, raising over £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.

The Pretty Muddy event, part of the Race for Life fundraising programme, returned this year at Trinity Park in Ipswich on Saturday 11th September 2021, following Cancer Research UK’s difficult decision to postpone all events in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Money from Race for Life events funds world-class research to help beat 200 types of the disease, including bowel, breast, prostate, lung, testicular, brain cancer, and children’s cancers, as well as leukaemia.

Vertas Group has supported Cancer Research UK for 5 years, raising over £35,000 to date.
