Vertas Group celebrates colleagues at the annual Making the Difference Awards

On Friday, 24th November, Vertas Group was thrilled to host their 8th Making the Difference Awards at Milsoms, Kesgrave Hall. The event was a great success, with 180 select attendees enjoying a night of celebrations.

The award ceremony honours the outstanding contributions made by colleagues over the year, with the evening dedicated to the hard work and diligence of those who have gone above and beyond. Colleagues are nominated by their peers, customers and suppliers of the Group, with 10 awards on offer, including ‘Colleague of the Year’ and ‘Sustainability and Innovation’, of which the winners receive a £200 voucher, a trophy, and a certificate from Vertas Group’s Chief Executive Officer.

The success of the evening was made possible with the support of suppliers and generous sponsors, of which representatives were invited to the ceremony, including attendees from our platinum sponsor, McCain Food Service Solutions and gold sponsors, including Ceetech, DCS, Symetri, Accent Fresh Ltd, JoinedUp by Beeline, S R Calver Building Contractors Ltd, BCN, BidFood, and Dalkia.

This year, the Group were proud to present a cheque of £7,622.00 to Cancer Research UK, Vertas Group’s chosen charity – a result of the organisation’s fundraising efforts across the year. In addition, £4,850.00 was raised for the charity through an auction and raffle on the night.
