Vertas Group celebrates colleagues at the 9th annual Making the Difference Awards

Vertas Group dazzles with its annual Making the Difference awards, which are dedicated to celebrating the contributions of its esteemed colleagues.

On Friday, 8th November, Vertas Group were delighted to host its 9th Making the Difference Awards at Milsoms, Kesgrave Hall. As with previous years, the event was a great success, with 200 select attendees enjoying a night of celebrations.

The award ceremony began with arrival drinks and an opportunity to network, followed by a delicious two-course meal and the awards presentation. Colleagues are nominated by their peers, customers and suppliers of the Group, with ten awards on offer, including ‘Colleague of the Year’ and ‘Sustainability and Innovation’. Winners of the awards receive a £250 voucher, a trophy, and a certificate from Vertas Group’s Chief Executive Officer.

The evening’s success was made possible with the support of suppliers and generous sponsors, representatives of whom were invited to the ceremony. This included platinum sponsor Bidfood and gold sponsors Sona, Accent Fresh Ltd, DCS, Ceetech, McCain, Dalkia, and Alliance.

This year, the Group was proud to present a cheque of £28,109.00 to Cancer Research UK, Vertas Group’s chosen charity, as a result of the organisation’s fundraising efforts throughout the year. In addition, £3,095 was raised for the charity through an auction and raffle on the night.
