Vertas Swimming provides a comprehensive, centrally organised and administered service to assist schools to meet their individual swimming targets and fulfil National Curriculum requirements. We arrange instructors, pool hire and transport.
The 2014 PE National Curriculum states: All schools must provide swimming instruction either in key stage 1 or key stage 2.
Vertas Swimming is committed to supporting schools to achieve beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum.
OUR COLLEAGUES
All swimming instructors employed by Vertas Swimming hold the following qualifications, as a minimum:
Lifesaving:
National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches
Teaching:
Swim England/STA Level 2 Swimming Teachers Certificate
Safeguarding:
DBS clearance and attendance at SAFE training every 3 years
