We are extremely proud to announce that Vertas Group Limited has been named finalists in both the Employer of the Year and Customer Care categories in this year’s East Anglian Daily Times, Suffolk Business Awards 2020.

The awards, which are sponsored by Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and EDF, are designed to celebrate achievements and recognise the hard work of Suffolk’s most innovative, imaginative, and inspiring firms.

Being a finalist for Employer of the Year is a huge accolade for the Vertas Group and we are extremely proud to be recognised by the judges for being a business which has achieved great things in the last 12 months and one that Suffolk can be proud to have as an ambassador of working life in the county.

Ian Surtees, MBA, Chief Executive Officer of Vertas Group Limited, commented: “2,000 members of the Vertas family work in our heartland, Suffolk, and we are so proud of how each one has risen to the challenges we’ve faced because of Covid-19. Right from the start, we made decisions that put them at the heart of our thinking and our teams have repaid this support ten times over. ‘Above and beyond’ may be a cliché but there’s no other way to describe what our teams have done for our clients in exceptional circumstances.

Reaching the final for Employer of the Year recognises their dedication and agility, both at Vertas and in their communities.

We’re are also immensely proud to be selected as a finalist for the Customer Care award for exemplifying outstanding customer service.

Ian Surtees, MBA, Chief Executive Officer of Vertas Group Limited, said: “The Vertas Group are absolutely delighted to be selected as a finalist. We have worked hard to ensure a customer-first approach across our business.

We recognise that we are on a journey and to be selected as a finalist endorses that our approach and progress are something we should be very proud of. Within Vertas our customers range from the children in schools who we provide nutritious and delicious meals for, to the multiple business leaders who we provide total facilities management services to. All are equally important, and we are proud that we make a difference.

You can read more on this exciting announcement in today’s issue of the East Anglian Daily Times, where the full list of finalists will be revealed. A full list of finalists can also be viewed on the Suffolk Business Awards website, here.

The winners will be announced on Tuesday 17th November. We would like to wish all the finalists the very best of luck.
