Vertas Group Limited has formed a joint venture with Derbyshire County Council.

The newly formed joint venture, Vertas Derbyshire Limited, welcomes circa 1,000 new colleagues, expanding Vertas Group to a workforce of 4,000 across Great Britain. The Joint Venture will provide cleaning and caretaking services to over 450 sites across Derbyshire, from local authority schools and academies, to libraries and public amenities.

Ian Surtees, MBA, Chief Executive Officer of Vertas Group Limited:

“Vertas has an excellent track record of transferring colleagues into the group and our teams have been working hard for over a year to ensure each and every new colleague has a smooth transition. Our new colleagues will benefit from all that Vertas offers in terms of innovation, wellbeing, learning and development, all within the supportive Vertas family culture.

“We are looking forward to meeting our new clients across Derbyshire and introducing our approach of ‘customer at the heart’, combined with our award-winning health and safety strategy which saw us achieve RoSPA Gold in 2019 and a highly coveted RoSPA commendation within the FM sector this year.”
