Vertas Group Welcomes Alec Smith as People Business Partner

Vertas Group is thrilled to announce that Alec Smith has been appointed as the new People Business Partner.

Alec joins Vertas Group with over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, bringing extensive knowledge to the team. Having worked in Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing and Technology, Alec has gained experience at a number of sites across East Anglia and the Northwest.

Alec is dedicated to professional growth. He recently was admitted to the fellow grade of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), which underpins his hands-on experience. Alec joins Vertas Group at an exciting time, and we look forward to seeing his contribution to Vertas Group’s ongoing success.

In his new role, Alec will work alongside the People team to support the delivery of the People Strategy. In particular, he will work on matters relating to Oakpark, Vertas Cleaning, Educational Catering, Vertas Passenger Services and Churchill Catering operations.

When asked about his new role, Alec said: “I’m very excited to be joining the Vertas People team, and look forward to supporting the wider Vertas Group with ongoing growth and development”.
