Vertas Group has been named a finalist in the East Anglian Daily Times (EADT) Business Awards. This recognition underscores the Group’s unwavering commitment to delivering environmentally sustainable services.

The company is delighted to be a part of the EADT Business Awards, which bring together Suffolk’s business community to celebrate achievements, individuals and significant milestones in a company’s journey.

To be recognised as a finalist in the Environmental and Sustainability category underscores Vertas Group’s commitment to prioritising sustainable practices and reducing its impact on the environment.

Vertas Group is proud to focus its strategy on achieving Net Zero carbon emissions and supporting environmental aspirations through key initiatives. For waste and recycling, the company ensures 100% waste diversion from landfills. Additionally, for energy and carbon management, Vertas Group aims for carbon-neutral energy performance, adopts eco-friendly procurement, and reduces water consumption and waste output. Meanwhile, transport initiatives promote sustainability, including moving toward an electric fleet by 2030.
