Schools’ Choice Chosen as Sage for Education Partner

Schools’ Choice, part of the Vertas group, has been chosen by Sage, the global market leader for integrated accounting, payroll, and payment systems, to be its largest UK partner in the launch and support of new product ‘Sage for Education’.

This new service will help schools and academies nationwide access and utilise Sage’s new software package, designed to simplify finance for schools and academies. Schools’ Choice will provide, install and deliver training for schools so that they can get the most out of Sage for Education. In addition, Schools’ Choice are ready to facilitate training sessions for CFOs, bursars and other users during the school holidays if desired.

In creating this new product, Sage has thoroughly investigated the needs of the education sector and this partnership will give schools and academies:

• value for money with the Cloud – this financial management solution is cloud-based and works on a subscription model which helps cashflow and means there is no need to purchase, power, and maintain expensive hardware. It also enables finance officers to work from a variety of locations
• intelligent analytics – get departmental analysis tailored to your school. For first and primary schools, analyse by year group or key stage, and for secondary and high schools, analyse by subject or key stage. Helping schools budget and evaluate resources to make more informed purchasing and strategic decisions.
