Vertas wins top award at Suffolk Business Awards 2021

Vertas Group is delighted to announce its success at this year’s Suffolk Business awards, taking home both the Employer of the Year and top award Business of the Year; a non-entry category, chosen by judges from all of the winning categories of the evening. Vertas were also a finalists in the Customer Excellence category.

The awards, which are sponsored by Suffolk Chamber of Commerce and Sizewell C, are designed to celebrate achievements and recognise the hard work of Suffolk’s most innovative, imaginative and inspiring firms.

Judges had high praise for Vertas, and said throughout the pandemic, the company had shown “exceptional out-the-box thinking, listening to the community and responding with lightning speed”.

The company’s transport services arm, for example, was turned on its head – instead of taking children to and from school, learning packs were delivered to children working at home to motivate and keep them on track.

The awards were announced at a ceremony at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall on Thursday 18^th November, attended by more than 250 guests – including finalists in the 10 award categories.
