Vertas Group win 3-year catering contract with Inspiration Trust

Vertas Group Limited has been awarded a three-year contract to provide education catering for the Inspiration Trust, with the opportunity to extend for a further two years.

Under the three-year agreement, Vertas Group will serve thirteen academies based in Norfolk and north Suffolk, four of which Vertas Group delivered successfully before the new contract was awarded.

National Facilities Management (FM) company, Vertas Group has worked in partnership with the Inspiration Trust for 7 years, providing a host of FM services, including catering and grounds maintenance.

As part of the new contract, Vertas Group will create a range of menus that offer the right nutritional balance to boost children’s development, behaviour, and ability to learn.

It will also feature plant-based foods from local suppliers to reduce their carbon footprint. Vertas Group hopes that its commitment to protecting the environment will inspire pupils to enjoy even healthier meals that are just as tasty.

In addition, Vertas Group will appoint a dedicated Development Chef to hand-craft menus and enhance nutritional education at the academies.
