Making the Difference Awards Postponed

The Making the Difference Awards due to take place in July 2021 has been postponed.

Every year, we look forward to celebrating our outstanding Vertas Family at our Making the Difference Awards. It is with great sadness that we have made the tough decision to postpone our 2021 awards ceremony (due to take place on Friday 9^th July 2021).

Ian Surtees MBA FIoD, Group Chief Executive Officer, comments:

“While we are starting to see light at the end of the tunnel, with half of the UK adult population now fully vaccinated, there is still uncertainty about the lifting of restrictions next month.

“Nothing is more important than the health and wellbeing of our finalists, colleagues, and sponsors and this was at the forefront of our decision to postpone the awards. A little more patience now will protect the NHS and allow the vaccine roll out to advance before ‘we meet again’.”

Vertas’ Making the Difference Awards has been postponed from July 2021 to Friday 12^th November 2021.

We would like to once again congratulate our colleagues who have been shortlisted as finalists and ask them to put their anticipation and excitement ‘on ice’. Being selected as a finalist demonstrates the hard work, commitment, and passion for always Making the Difference.  You can view the shortlist here.
