Your Voice 2026: Listening to our people and taking action

Submitted by Reece Nunn | 16/09/2026

Thousands of colleagues across Vertas Group shared their views through our 2026 Your Voice Colleague Engagement Survey, helping us understand what we’re doing well and where we can continue to improve.

This year, 500 more colleagues took part compared with last year, with the survey recording an overall 90% engagement score.

The results showed strong levels of commitment across the Group, with colleagues highlighting customer focus, dedication to their roles, loyalty to their services and positive relationships with their line managers.

These results reflect something we see every day across Vertas Group: colleagues who care about the work they do, the customers they support and the communities they serve.

Listening and learning
While there is plenty to be proud of, Your Voice also helps us understand where we can continue to improve.

Colleagues told us they would like to see clearer communication, particularly when changes are happening; learning and development that works for their role; benefits that are easier to understand and use; more recognition for the great work colleagues do; and reward that feels meaningful.

Turning feedback into action
Teams across Vertas Group are now reviewing their results, identifying priorities and turning feedback into action.

Over the coming months, we’ll share more about the actions we’re taking and how colleague feedback is helping to shape improvements across the Group.

Listening to our people is an important part of creating a better colleague experience and ensuring the people who make the difference across Vertas Group know their voice matters.
