Vertas has made it through the second round of judging for EADT Business Awards 2017 and is one of three finalists within the Large Business category.
The news comes after Large Business category sponsor, Scrutton Bland visited Vertas to find out more about the company and its submission. The judge was impressed by what Vertas had achieved in terms of business improvement, CSR and strong financial results since the company embarked on its new strategic direction in 2014.
Ian Surtees MBA FloD, Vertas Group Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, said:
“The board of directors and I are thrilled to hear of the news that Vertas is a finalist in the Large Business category at such a prestigious awards ceremony.
“As a business, Vertas has grown considerably since it embarked on its new direction just a few years ago; not only in the winning of new contracts across the East of England but in the way we operate as an organisation.
“This journey has enabled us to develop and establish a service offering which is firmly centred around our clients and customers’ needs and desires, thus enabling a positive impact on our local economy and community.”
